The Killers' Brandon Flowers has told Radiohead's Thom Yorke that he should return to writing "pop songs". Not known for keeping his head down (remember his claim that their new album was the best thing in 25 years?) Flowers has disliked Yorke's more experimental music in past years, and thinks he's wasting his gift for writing popular songs. Flowers is reported to have said, "He should feel grateful that's he's (been) given the gift to write pop songs - which he needs to write again!"

The Killers are my favourite band ever and I love Brandon, but he really needs to learn when to shut up. Radiohead have been around for 10 years, he hasn't, although I think he has a point, SHUT IT!
