Rolling Stones hellraiser Keith Richards has announced that he has finally given up drugs, apparently they're just not strong enough to bother with any more. The guitarist complained that the power of his favourite narcotics has been reduced by dealers and chemists, and that drugs nowadays, "try and take the high out of everything". He added, "I don't like the way they're working on the brain area instead of just through the blood system. That's why I don't take any of them any more." Keith, 62, underlined his credential with a final statement, "And you're talking to a person who knows his drugs."
