What with Noel Gallagher merrily slagging off all comers, Elton John has taken the opportunity to get his own back by commenting on the current chart battle between Westlife and Oasis's greatest hits albums.
"I'm so glad Westlife are ahead of Oasis," he said. "After what fucking Noel Gallagher said about me I couldn't give a shit about Oasis ... he's just such a tosser. He's an absolute tosser and he looks like Parker from 'Thunderbirds'. They don't deserve to be Number One. It's not a greatest hits album because they've left three of their biggest hits off it."
Ouch. Current sales figures suggest that Westlife will clinch the top spot on Sunday, with The Beatles' The LOVE Album edging out Oasis's best of.

#1-It's quite funny.
#2-It almost sounds like Elton is praising Oasis saying that 3 of their biggest (which ones?) aren't even on their....and it still goes to #2.

How can a person that is so uncomfortable with his own appearance, ie wearing a wig, have the nerve to comment on someone elses. Noel has the kind of talent that Elton could only dream about! As for calling him a tosser, i think we all know who does the most tossing!!!!
