Q has a new look!

Comments

The December issue of Q Magazine unveils a glittering new look for Europe’s biggest and most ESSENTIAL music guide.

If you’ve been with us a while you will notice there have been some changes around the place. Our aim has been to make The Essential Music Guide more useful, more entertaining and even more of a quality monthly read. We trust you’ll find that we’ve succeeded.

We have extended the Q50, your guide to the essential songs of the month, to four pages. Throughout the issue, a Q50 badge highlights every song highly recommended by Q, so you can cherry-pick the key tracks of the month at a glance. In addition, we have increased our music coverage within QReview, ensuring that even more new albums, reissues and downloads are reviewed and rated every month. You will also find additional further-listening recommendations throughout the section. We want to point you in the direction of still more of just the good stuff each and every month.

Elsewhere, you will find a procession of new regular features in the front section of the magazine, including My Brilliant Career, Last Requests and Rock Myths. And you will, hopefully, notice that the main features are just that bit more luxurious and expansive, enhancing still further Q’s outstanding music writing and photography.

One thing remains the same. Q is your magazine. I’d be delighted to hear what you think of it.

In the new issue...

NIRVANA
Included inside this spanking new issue is the definitive feature on how Nirvana and the Nevermind album changed the world, rewriting the rules of mainstream music. Dave Grohl, Courtney Love and many others talk us through the 672 days that changed YOUR life.

THE KILLERS
Q goes on the road with The Killers as they take us through the making of their new album, Sam’s Town, before tucking into fish and chips during a day trip to Blackpool.

THE 1990s

Elsewhere in the all new Q, we celebrate the decade that gave birth to Britpop, grunge, rave and an Icelandic pixie. A golden age for music, Q relives the 1990s with a luxurious photo portfolio of musical icons, featuring among others Oasis, Bjork, Madonna and U2.

And if all that’s not enough, Take That take Cash For Questions, offering up information regarding penis size, their gayest moments and Jason Orange’s "relationship" with Lulu!

THE Q REVIEW
In Q's world famous and freshly expanded Review section, there's the essential guide to new albums by Damien Rice, The Who and the verdict on Oasis' eagerly-awaited best of collection. All that and Q's choice of the 50 best tracks to download this month.
