• This is ridiculous!
  If people don't like Russell Brand, then why do they take the time to make REALLY immature, badly spelt diatribes against him?
  Does he really bother you that much that you wish death upon him? Instead, why not just change the channel? Maybe not read the Sun?
  Another thing I don't understand is the constant allusions that Brand is like Cpt. Jack Sparrow? He dresses like an Edwardian/Georgian dandy and acts like a cross between Alex from A Clockwork Orange, Kenneth Williams and the Marquis de Sade. Russell Brand was also a famous cult VJ way before Depp created Sparrow (himself a character resultant of a fusion of Pepe le Pew and Keith Richards, so any claims asking why Brand can’t be himself are unfounded)
  Admittedly, Brand’s brand (for want of a better word) of humour is not to everyone’s taste, but then neither is the Mighty Boosh, neither is Benny Hill, Jim Davidson, the Chuckle Brothers. Yet all these acts have their own audience, who admire and respect them, and equally people who abhor and detest them, just usually, those people don’t wish death upon comedians who they don’t think are funny.
  Because it’s a bit weird and psychopathic.

• Left Britain for Asia four and a half years ago, before the natural disaster that is Brand, hit the island. I ahve seen him on TV show downloads and I must admit to being bewildered. How, oh how is this guy so successful? He is unfunny. Very unfunny! Trying to sound so clever with his affected accent and pretentiousness that is astoundingly obvious. I guess anyone can be famous these days. People, please, it's time to draw a line in th sand and try to pick popular culture back up out of the gutter that it seems to find itself in today.
  Question: Russell, why don't you charter a cruiseship and invite onboard the talentless, mediawhores that seem to fill the news and tv nowadays and take them on a long voyage, far away, perhaps if we're lucky, never to return?

• i dont understand how people cant find him funny.
