Listen to the new Arcade Fire track

Comments

2007 looks increasingly likely to be dominated by the art-indie of Canada’s Arcade Fire, especially if the reaction following Zane Lowe’s unveiling of their new song is anything to go by.

Following the cult success of singles Rebellion (Lies) and Wake Up, and current album Funeral, Lowe previewed a new track - Intervention - from forthcoming album Neon Bible on his Radio 1 show last Thursday.

Played in the Hottest Track In The World Today slot, Lowe said afterwards, “If that doesn’t get you somewhere special, I feel sorry for you.” You can listen to Interruption on the repeat of the show here. Click forward 18 minutes to start. Their album Neon Lights has a tentative release date of March next year.

Any good? What new albums are you looking forward to this year? Let us know.
