Long-term New York residents David Bowie and his wife Iman are considering a move back to the UK because the singer is homesick for British television..
Iman told Hello: “New York is a beautiful city and David has always loved architecture. When he first arrived in the Seventies he led the rock ’n roll lifestyle, going to bed at dawn. Now he is up at dawn and sees the city in a new light.
“David does get homesick and he has a special love for London where he was born and grew up. He’s a huge fan of The Office and Extras and really gets homesick for decent telly. We’re in New York for now but God knows what will happen in five years.”

I dearly understand David, for I have suffered enough from the barren desert landscapes of American TV, where thingslike intellectual humour are as hard to find as a decent drink. But Dear Q: Couldn't you find anything better to blabber about one of the world's greatest artists, when it is his 60th bithday today?
Fairly poor....

I know the barren lanscapes of American TV and can imagine that Mr. Bowie feels terribly low challenged by the program there. But you, Dear Q: Haven't you found something more profound to write abour one of the world's greatest artst on his 60th birthday? Fairly poor, hey....
