After months of speculation, Pete Doherty has reportedly married Kate Moss in a ceremony in Thailand – but he’ll have to do it again if he wants it to be legal in the UK.
Rumours that a wedding was to take place started circulating on New Year’s Eve and the couple reportedly said their vows in a Buddhist service yesterday afternoon at the six star Amanpuri Hotel in Phuket.
Whether they did or not, if they want their vows to be law in the UK they’ll have to go through the whole routine again.
Doherty claimed to have married Moss back in September 2005, then the couple were looking into an Irish wedding early last year, but now it seems the couple have finally done the deed while beating the paparazzi.
UPDATE: A spokesman for Moss has denied the claims, saying, "Contrary to various entirely false media reports, there has not been any kind of marriage ceremony in Thailand. She is on holiday."
