They're probably going to have to start categorising the stories coming out about James Brown on a scale of mildly ludicrous to Michael Jackson. Following weeks in which fans have got into gunfights over the star's purported height, to his wife being locked out of her own mansion and apparently written out of his will, now it turns out that nobody actually knows where his body is.
Having been laid out in state at his home in South Carolina (during which time his clothes were changed every day), Brown's body was moved last Thursday. No reason has been given for the move, and no decision has been made on where his final resting place will be.
The singer's six adult children are planning to put the body into a mausoleum and are considering turning the whole of the singer's home into a museum to include his grave. Showing how seriously they're taking this, they're going to consult Elvis Presley's family on how they managed to turn Graceland into a 600,000 visitors a year tourist attraction. Talk about the Godfather that keeps on giving...

Don't you think that "ludicrous to Michael Jackson" is more a comment on the type of stories printed *about* Michael Jackson, rather than a criticism of the man himself, eg Elephant Man's skeleton, oxygen tent, etc.
