Q Editor Paul Rees will give a talk at Harrods in London's Knightsbridge on Thursday February 15 from 5pm. Titled When Guitarists Go Mad: The 12-Bar Tales, the talk is part of the store's Harrods Rocks event.
Harrods Rocks runs in the store from February 2 to March 3, celebrating the iconography and enduring influence of the electric guitar. Harrods will host live performances and guitar master
classes throughout the month. The centre-piece of the event will be Born To Rock, an exhibition of rare and vintage guitars - including instruments donated by the likes of Keith Richards, Noel Gallagher, Neil Young, Edge and Jimi Hendrix.
