Beatles' Apple battle over

Comments

iPod and Mac kings Apple Inc have won an argument with The Beatles' record company Apple Corps over the use of the Apple name. Apple Inc will now have full control over the Apple brand, but will licence certain trademarks back to the record company for continued use. This settlment also marks the end of the trademark lawsuit between the companies.

The trademark lawsuit between the companies will also end.

Apple chief executive Steve Jobs said that, as a Beatles fan, the court battle had been "painful".
