Britney's scalp has barely just been brought to the world's attention, but already enterprising souls are selling scraps of the singer's hair on eBay. Well, possibly Britney's hair.
Our favourite listing so far is "BRITNEY'S HAIR...A STRAND OF BRITNEY'S HAIR", currently selling for £52.00 despite containing the disclaimer: "Because it was picked up outside I cant be positive that it is hers and will make no claims that it is." Even though the title says it is.
It goes on: "This was sent to my daughter by my brother in law as he works in the same street as the salon where Britney shaved off her own hair. He was near the salon at the time and picked up the hair! He said when he walked by the salon after Britney left it was lying on the pavement just near the door way."
Er, does this often happen when you get your hair cut, let alone when you're worth upwards of $123 million?
"It must have come out off someone's shoe! He picked it up and sent it to me for my daughter who is a mega fan of Britney's . Because it was picked up outside I can't be positive that it is hers and will make no claims that it is.
"She had no intentions of selling it but since hearing of all the people going after her hair, she thought she would put it on eBay to raise money, as she wants a bike to get to her new school!"
Just think - even if you end up forking out £50 for a strand of hair that's probably not Britney's, you stand a 12% chance you'll be helping a little girl to get to school.

My God. If you have to be sick enough to pay for a piece of a music god's body (and I am) then I would go for some of Ryan Ross's hair. That guy has the nicest hair in the world.
