New GN'R album delayed...again

Comments

Guns N'Roses have posted a message on their official site saying there is no official release date for new album Chinese Democracy. So much for 5 March then.

The statement said, "There is no official release date, as the band is currently mixing, but after some delays and scheduling difficulties, things appear to be moving along." Which is pretty much what we've been hearing for the last however many months.

The band are now rumoured to be announcing the release date around 5 March instead, aiming for a summer release. Mind, it's already been 14 years so what does another few months matter?

Guns N'Rosezzzzzz...are you still excited by the new album or is the wait putting you off?

  • OMG not f'ing again. Why doesn't Axl just retire. Axl Rose will be dead before the next GNR album comes out he procrastinates so much.

He keeps trying to make this album the biggest thing in the world and make is ultra-relative to the present times, but he keeps putting it off so long that it fades out of relavence again and again.

  • HOW ANNOYING?!?!?!!?!!!!!!!
As a loyal fan who has waited patiently for years for new music, this is just so frustrating! This is twice now that Waxl has said himself, not rumours, that the album would be out and then nothing! This guy is a flake!!! I love the music and will always be a fan, but what a joke!!!

  • Fourteen years waiting for what? The rest of the group have left and only Axle and his ego remain and he now looks like Mick Hucknall so why should we be excited - get the Velvet Revolver album instead or just listen to Appetite For Destruction and remember them when they were really Rock N Roll cool.

  • What really gets me is the fact that after listening to some of the half finished new songs on youtube, it's sounding really good! so frustrating! there's no way it can live up to the hype he's created for it seeing as he's been working on it since like 1991 though!
