Noel Gallagher and The Who to play Teenage Cancer Trust gigs

Comments

Noel Gallagher and The Who have been confirmed for this year's series of concerts at the Royal Albert Hall in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT).

The concerts were thought up by TCT patron Roger Daltry back in 2000, and The Who will finish off the series on 31 March. The Oasis Svengali will play two shows with a number of special guests, including The View on 26 March and The Coral on 27 March.

Other gigs include a comedy night hosted by Russell Brand and The Mighty Boosh's Noel Fielding on 28 March, Kasabian on 29 March and secret special guests on 30 March.

Teenage Cancer Trust focuses on the needs of teenagers and young adults with cancer by providing specialist teenage units in NHS hospitals. So far the shows have funded the building of 3 TCT units and there are more in development.
