Following allegations of a "rude-looking shadow show" during his half-time Super Bowl show on Sunday, Prince is being investigated on grounds of lewd behaviour.
Reports say that the star purposefully used his guitar as an inappropriate phallic symbol during a section of the show which had a shadow of Prince and his guitar cast onto a beige sheet during a performance of Purple Rain.
Despite the show being hailed as one of the best in Super Bowl history by several US entertainment critics, the complaints have come from critics and bloggers, which isn't very liberal and media-like of them at all.
It was "a rude-looking shadow show" that was "embarrassingly rude, crude and unfortunately placed," said Daily News television critic David Bianculli, a man who clearly never saw Prince during the 80s.

my children (ages 12 to 21) and i enjoyed PRINCE and his half time show. everyone thought the shadow sequence was the coolest part of the show. do people just look for things to go wrong? maybe if we look from a different angle we moght see the shadow of THE VIRGIN MARY!

I don't see what all the fuss is all about; it's PRINCE for crying out loud, what did they expect to get from an artist who used have a huge purple bed on stage and had a... substance to come out of his guitar at the climax of a guitar solo...

As an American I have to say I am appalled by our country's hypocritical standars when it comes to what is acceptable TV and whats not. Clearly we feel it pacceptable to show deplorable violence in the news but the mere mention of something like love or sex and the red flags fly high. I can't make excuses for my country but anyone from here will tell you it's not the majority making these choices. We are ripe for a leadership change.
