George Michael will play the first concert at the new Wembley Stadium when it re-opens this summer.
The singer, whose concerts at the old Wembley included Live Aid and Wham's 1986 farewell concert, will be the first act to perform at the £757m Stadium on 9 June. Last December Muse said they were going to be the first band to play on 16 June, but someone's obviously sneaked in an alternative.
Either way, they'll both be beaten by the official opening on 19 May, when the FA Cup Final takes place, nearly two years after it was originally supposed to open.
