Permanent punk fixtures Green Day are rumoured to be making an appearance in the forthcoming Simpsons film.
While the film's production company 20th Century Fox would not confirm this, the band's label, Warner Bros/Reprise, has been far more obliging and said that the boys do appear in the film as well as contributing a song to the soundtrack.
Rumours abound further that those with endless patience and miraculous reflexes can see the band in the film's trailer, apparently 25 seconds before it ends. Keep your eyes peeled...
