Iggy Pop inspires flower garden

Comments

Traditionally the province of the middle-aged, gardening is taking its cues from an altogether wilder pensioner - Iggy Pop.

The Children's Society's first garden at this year's Chelsea Flower Show is inspired by Pop's song Lust For Life, although it's safe to say the chances of liquor, drugs and hypnotised chickens turning up are minimal.

Iggy said, "Lust for Life is full of optimism as young people should be...but too many aren't. I'm honoured that The Children's Society's garden is inspired by my music and wholeheartedly support the work that they do - they rock!"
