Police to play four UK dates

The newly-reformed Police have confirmed rumours of a European tour and will play four shows in the UK later in the year.

The band, who celebrate their 30th anniversary next year and who have never officially split up,
recently reformed to play a show at the American Grammy Awards. This tour is preceded by dates in Canada and North America, several of which have already sold out.

According to the band's websites, fans in Belgium, Denmark, Italy and Switzerland can expect good news on dates near them in the near future. For the time being, these are the confirmed European dates.

29 August: Stockholm, Sweden
4 September: Birmingham, UK
8 September: London, UK
11 September: Hamburg, Germany
13 September: Amsterdam, Netherlands
16 September: Prague, Czech Republic
19 September: Vienna, Austria
22 September: Munich, Germany
27 September: Barcelona, Spain
29 September: Paris, France
13 October: Dusseldorf, Germany
15 October: Manchester, UK
19 October: Cardiff, UK

Tickets go on sale on Friday.
