Rare news and interview footage of the Beatles at weddings, gigs and on the set of their films is now available to buy on the internet.
Download service Wippit is selling downloadable video reports of Beatlemania's hold on the globe back in 1964, Paul McCartney's wedding to Linda and John Lennon and Yoko Ono's "bed-in" in 1969, among other footage of the Fab Four at awards shows and on the set of Help!
The downloads cost 49p each, but despite the material coming from sources like Reuters, ITN and Pathé, the Beatles' record label EMI asked the site to remove a notice saying that it would be selling Beatles content.
EMI and the band have so far resisted selling Beatles merchandise legally on the internet, although rumours have been circulating that music would become available later this year.

The Beatles don't deserve to sell by pennies.This is The Best Band In The World Ever!
Oasis is close to them,but nobody can touch them.

i think some of you are fuckin pricks mocking the beatles they may have broke up ages ago dude but u wudnt have the music youve got today without them plus why did they sell so many records you may be thinking im an old loser i am 19 years old and probably know far more than you wankers u may just be able to tel me their names. knowone can come close to the beatles maybe you should try and educate urselves coz if thats what goes through your pathetic nieve heads than your thick as shit .
