With US showcase festival South By South West having just finished it's only to be expected that party spirits be higher than usual, but this time it's not the usual suspects getting themselves into trouble with drink.
Following a final show on Saturday with Amy Winehouse and Mika as part of the Island record showcase, the benignly jolly Rumble Strips lead singer Charlie Waller went on a 16 hour bender in Austin.
The singer got involved in "an incident" which saw him being arrested and put in the cells overnight by local police. Waking up to realise that his flight back to the UK was in a couple of hours, he took the law into his own hands, jumped bail and flew home. Which could put a slight damper on the Rumble Strips's chances of ever playing the States again...
