V Festival sells out

Tickets for this year’s V Festival have sold out, despite only going on sale this morning.

The festival takes place over the weekend of 18-19 August at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire, with bands including The Killers, Foo Fighters and Kaiser Chiefs all set to play.

V Festival Directors Bob Angus and Simon Moran said they were "overwhelmed" that the festival sold out so quickly. "It really is testament to the fantastic line-up to have eight of the top nine artists in the current album chart, with the exception of Take That, who will no doubt have their moment tomorrow when their tour tickets go on sale!”
