Norah Jones stars alongside Jude Law in romantic drama My Blueberry Nights, which premieres at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
It's the multi-million selling jazz star's first acting role. She plays Elizabeth, an enigmatic woman who goes to the same New York cafe every night to order a slice of blueberry pie. Gradually she builds up a relationship with the cafe's owner Jeremy, played by Jude Law - but then she disappears.
At that point the film, which also stars Rachel Weisz and Natalie portman, morphs into a road movie, as Elizabeth travels south down America's iconic Route 66 in search of a new beginning.
My Blueberry Nights opens in the UK in June.
Meanwhile, have you ever wondered what Norah Jones would sound like duetting with Ryan Adams? Well, here she is guesting on the song Dear John, from Ryan Adams & The Cardinals' 2005 album Jacksonville City Nights. Their voices dovetail beautifully - it's all very Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris.
