The first in an occasional series: Interpol bassist Carlos Dengler.
Initially, he dressed like a camp Nazi. Now he looks like he should be tending bar in a Wild West saloon. Not only that, when Dengler isn't strutting around with imperious New York gloom rockers Interpol, he's also, according to his home page, an "aspiring film and tv composer".
Dengler's website also reveals that he lives with his Italian greyhound Gaius. Rumours on the band's website also suggest that the pooch has even been accompanying its master on tour. Which presumably means he takes it for the occassional walk, perhaps between soundcheck and gig.
Obviously, this is exactly the kind of high concept lunacy that should be encouraged. Carlos Dengler: Q salutes you!
