It’s the new Brummie mafia.
During the ‘70s, the West Midlands was the home of all things metal thanks to the likes of Black Sabbath and Robert Plant. Then, at the turn of the ‘80s, it gave birth to 2-Tone crews such as The Specials. Now it seems that the centre of the country has usurped Manchester as the home of gibbon-walking lads in expensive clobber. At least judging by this amusing home video for The Streets’ remix of The Twang’s current single Either Way, with Mike Skinner taking his fellow sports casual Brummies down to the beach to cock about for the camera.
