Dance rock kingpin James Murphy used to DJ with two ecstasy pills placed, strategically, in quarters around the corners of his turntables. Two albums of mind boggling, rump wobbling dance rock later, it’s clear that, in his case at least, the drugs do work. All My Friends, which outlines the hedonist’s equivalent of a mid-life crisis, is one of the highlights of his second album, the recently released Sound Of Silver.
