Hyperactive party-starters The Go! Team caused a minor stir in 2006 when their sample-heavy album Thunder Lightning Strike was nominated for a Mercury Prize (sample it here), but the buzz fizzled seemed to fizzle out.
Their new single, out 2 July, should see them make up the ground they lost. Grip Like A Vice is an itchy, clamouring floor-filler that will no doubt entirely mystify crowds in Beijing and Shanghai where, weirdly, The Go! Team are currently on tour.
