U2 In The Studio. In Africa!

Comments

This is the first photo of U2 in Morocco, where they’re currently hard at work on new songs. Bono, Edge, Larry Mullen and Adam Clayton are recording in Fez with Brian Eno (pictured, in blue shirt) and Daniel Lanois, who’ve produced many of the band’s most successful albums, notably 1987’s Joshua Tree and 1991’s Achtung Baby. The pair last worked with U2 on 2000’s All That You Can’t Leave Behind.
U2 first reconvened towards the end of last year, initially working with Rick Rubin. The band stress that both sessions have been geared towards songwriting and there are still no concrete plans for a new album.
