Two From Tony Wilson

The late Factory boss in his pomp, holding court for Channel 4’s ‘80s music show The Tube flanked by Joy Division/New Order bassist Peter Hook and journalist Paul Morley, then working with the rival ZTT label, home to Frankie Goes To Hollywood.

When he wasn’t running Factory and mucking about in the music business, Wilson was always popping on TV. Remote Control, his ‘90s game show featuring singing comedian Frank Sidebottom might not have been his finest hour but it showed that, despite the air of superiority, he was never afraid to get stuck in.
