It’s not due out until April 2008, but a trailer for Martin Scorsese’s Rolling Stones documentary Shine A Light has already appeared online – and it looks like the film will be well worth the wait.
Far more revealing than the usual on-the-road rock flick, Shine A Light evidently captures genuine friction between band and director, with Mick Jagger barking instructions down the phone to a non-plussed Scorsese, who (one imagines) is not used to being bossed around on set.
The feature-length documentary, which features onstage appearances from Jack White, Christina Aguilera and blues icon Buddy Guy, is apparently slated for an initial run on Imax screens only.
