In Summary: The opening revisited the set he played at the Superbowl back in February, with the exact same run of covers – Creedence Clearwater Revival’s Proud Mary, Bob Dylan’s All Along The Watchtower, The Foo Fighters’ Best Of You. In fact, it was a pretty covers heavy evening, with the now familiar jams on Chic’s Le Freak and Wild Cherry’s Play That Funky Music joined by snatches of The Beatles' Come Together and Elton John’s Your Song (Elton had just played the O2 himself).

He also played a stunning aftershow of over two and a half hours. Mostly covers including Gnarls Barkley's 'Crazy' and Aretha Franklins 'I Never Loved A Man', but he did '1999' and 'All the Critics Love U', 'Joy in Repetition', '3121', 'Chelsea Rodgers', 'Girls and Boys'...Absolutely fantastic, the best show I have ever been to and far better than the main show (in part because of the intimacy of the venue and the vastly better sound of the indigo2). Get tickets to the aftershows if you can. He may not turn up, but if he does, you are in for an unforgettable evening!
