In summary: At approaching two hours, one of the longer shows of the run so far, which might have explained why he ducked out of the aftershow. Although, amazingly, he had the grace to pull up to the aftershow queue in a car, step out and let the punters know he had to give his a voice a night off.

Typical. Crap review from a crap mag. Brilliant Performance. Sublime choice of tracks and some cheeky ones thrown in.
Oh and its Wednesday 12th September. Obviously only intrested in the gobshites ligging and mooching around for some coke at the aftershow. And if youde bothered to check on Buying Tickets sites youde have known he wasnt playing the aftershow anyways. Tit.

First time I have been lucky enough to see The Master. Phenomenal performance: what a Musician/Singer/Dancer/Entertainer - it was a privilege to be there!!!

Believe everything you read on dodging tout websites do you Dave? And how can you call a list of songs played "crap"? You're the TIT. Post proper comments if you want, not rubbish.

What an arsehole, he made all of us Q awards people wait anouther hour (and i had been there since 3) just to do his sound check. He cuts back everyones set and then does'nt show up to the aftershow. What a nob!

Think youve misread my post Nick. Alright the aftershow wasnt for sale on the Ticketmaster site so i assumed it wasnt on anyways. But i quoted "sublime choice of tracks" which meant awesome show, but Q chose to focus on the fact he couldnt do the aftershow. I was expecting a review?

Although these reviews are far too short it's great that we get these set lists. One thing puzzles me though - knowing where Indigo2 is placed within the Dome I don't understand how Prince can step out of a car and speak to the aftershow queue - that must've been one long queue!

Lee/Dave - if you want full set lists for all of the shows, go to www.housequake.com, and then go into the forum. There you will find links to the tour threads, within which there is a thread that gives you all of the set lists for the main shows and the afetrshows. They are also complete - not always the case with Q. Q have also played up what happened - Prince only briefly addressed a few fans who were at the end of the (very long) queue, so most people didn't know anything about it, and therefore stayed in the queue (for a lot longer than usual), went in, waited around for over an hour, and then were bitterly disappointed when he didn't turn up. Nicola - I can see where you're coming from, but at the end of the day, Q Awards or not, there is never any guarantee that he will play the aftershows. If you really wanna see him, then go to one of the gigs. I think Q should have made it clear that the aftershow didn't really have anything to do with them, and so he may not necessarily play. Because they were claiming that he was gonna play, even on the ads for the Launch Party, I had assumed that Prince had maybe arranged with Q to play. In any case, if the reason for not playing was his sore throat, then there was never any way of knowing that beforehand - anyway, whatever the f***!!!

Ever since I, when I was 12 years old, saw the film "Purple Rain", I've been dreaming of going to a Prince concert. I'd never thought the dream would come true. But the 12th of September it did. I'm from Sweden and when I heard about the release of the nights in London I skipped school and without thinking I just booked the tickets ('cause I knew that If I hadn't done it, I'd regret it for the rest of my life). And what did I think about the show? I loved it! Especially the last time he came in. I only wish I'd had the money to stand in the golden circle area. (I had pretty good seats though, in front of the stage on Lower Tier) but the feeling when standing on the first rows right in front of the stage..when you have the chance to make eyecontact with the artist, that's something you can't describe. For now, I really wish I'd lived in London, because then I would have gone to at least 3 of the concerts! I loved Prince before I went to the concert. But at the concert I fell in love with him.

I went to 7 of the shows and thought that this one was the best by far
Took my 13 year old son who didn't really know about Prince and he is now a fan...
I believe he started Purple Rain on the piano before going into the full song straight from the piano medley Never heard him sing Free or Something in the water a real 1999 night
