When rock stars attack...

Comments

Tommy Lee and Kid Rock’s laughable brawl at the MTV awards the other week reminded us of some other examples of rock stars losing their rag…

Liam Gallagher
Note how this smug ITN report condemns Gallagher Jr’s assault on a photographer as “thuggery” – especially, tut-tut, in full view of his son - but then insists on replaying the offending punch in pornographic slow-motion.

Jeff Tweedy
The normally mild-mannered Wilco frontman lashed out at an over-zealous fan who got onstage and tried to kiss him at a gig in October 2006. “I don't like to punch someone in the face,” reflected a contrite Tweedy afterwards. “It sucks.”

Pete Wentz
Fast forward to 1.45 to witness Fall Out Boy smoothie Pete Wentz transform into a wild-eyed psycho as he dives into the moshpit to dispense swift and brutal emo justice. Let’s hope he didn’t smudge his eyeliner in the process.

Glenn Danzig
Sometimes rock stars are on the receiving end of violence, too. Here the famously musclebound former Misfits singer unwisely incurs the wrath of someone even more beefy than him. Oof.
