There's just over two weeks until registration for tickets to this year's Glastonbury festival begins, and two months until the tickets themselves go on sale. Demand is expected to be as intense as ever, and the procedure for securing one will be a repeat of 2007's successful photo-registration process.
"We're just farmers, but we come up with some fairly simple remedies to things, because we're lateral thinkers down here," jokes festival organiser Michael Eavis. So before you buy your wellies, here's how you get your hands on a ticket.
1st February - Registration
There will be a four-week registration period, during which anyone seeking a ticket should log onto www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk and fill in their details.
You will also need to provide a current photo, which will be checked on entry to the festival.
Once registered, you will receive a confirmation letter and reference number. You will need these to buy your ticket.
Those without internet access can pick up a registration form at any branch of Millets.
6th April - Tickets go on sale
Tickets go on sale at 9am, 6th April. Use your registration number to log on to buy tickets at www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk, or phone the ticket line on 0800 079 2008.
"Tickets are sold on a first come first served basis," says Eavis. "People don't like the idea of a lottery scheme, because they want to feel like they have a chance of getting one if they get onto the website or call up the ticket line."
Ticket prices will also be announced shortly.
"It's going to be a great line-up this year," promises Eavis. "But I'm fighting to keep the prices down."
Glastonbury festival takes place at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset, 27-29 June.
