Q can confirm that Neil Diamond is to play Glastonbury 2008. The legendary singer-songwriter, who has sold 120 million records worldwide, will play the Pyramid Stage on Sunday 29 June.
Electronic popsters du jour Hot Chip are also set to appear at the festival, which takes place at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset, 27-29 June.
The ticket registration process opens on Friday 1 February. More details here.

Glastonbury why the fuss? Now just full of middle class wannabes trying to create an identity for themselves in their drab sad little lives! Where were these people in the 80's & early 90's when you could get a ticket a couple of weeks before? Glastonbury's long since lost it's spirit so looks like Budapest or Cochella's a better bet and I'll leave the the mud and flags (???) to Tarqs, Jules, Gav, Josh and the gang this year!

Might I point out my young ? friend those middle class wannabees have probably gone to Glastonbury for most of their 'sad' little lives and now its a great break from the norm . Which is working hard to raise smart ***** like your self or if you are older to keep you on the dole , if you are a worker like the rest of us you wouldn't see the world as you do Chill and enjoy we are ALL blessed
