For those who still haven’t registered for Glastonbury tickets, organisers are now offering an extra incentive. Anyone who registers for this year’s event will also be eligible to buy tickets in 2009 and 2010.
Click here for details on how to register for a ticket – it involves filling in a simple form and supplying a passport photograph. The deadline is 14 March.
Acts confirmed to play include Kings Of Leon, The Verve, Jay-Z, Leonard Cohen, Neil Diamond, Hot Chip, Massive Attack and British Sea Power.
Michael Eavis said: “We’ve got exactly one month to go until the registration period for this year’s festival tickets ends and it all seems to be going really well. We still think this is the best and fairest way to make sure that the tickets go to people who actually want to come to the festival, rather than touts.”
He continued: “The last wonderful week of fine weather has got everyone on the farm on a terrific high as we prepare the fields, bridges and tracks for June time.
