Launched in 2000 by TCT Patron and The Who frontman Roger Daltrey CBE, the annual Teenage Cancer Trust shows have a reputation for attracting the biggest names in music: last year’s event saw performances from Paul Weller, Noel Gallagher and Kasabian, among others.

Announcing this year’s line-up, Daltrey said: “These shows, now in their eighth year, continue to help Teenage Cancer Trust raise essential funds to build specialist teenage cancer units within the NHS. In 2008, the charity will open five new units and will start building work on a further two. This means that many more teenagers with cancer will have access to one of our units and will get the support they need to fight this disease."
