Well - interesting line up, i'm looking forward to seeing the other stages, probably not the best Glasto line-up - but hey it means we can all spend more time doing making those stone sculptures... not.

I'm completely under-whelmed. There are 300 bands on this line-up that have a sound that is completely indistiguishable from the generic indie nonsense that pervades the UK music scene at the moment. Thank god for Squarepusher and Eat Static, the only innovators on the line-up.

Well this is the worst line up in the past 12 years that I've been going. I wonder if I can get a refund? Plus, last year Emily and Michael Evis blatantly abused the Glasto faithful by saying we weren't very lively so they'd book more bands to get the kids in this year..... Yep, well done guys, plenty of new up and coming bands in that lot...erm not. Even the ethics of the John Peel stage have been lost by putting on bands on their 3rd or 4th albums. I thought that was the new bands stage????!!!!! If I can't get a refund I'm going to wait until the week before, find out what the weather is going to be like and then if it's raining I'm not bothering. I'm not standing in the rain again to watch that lot.

Has the V festival started booking the bands for Glastonbury or something? What's going on, with only a couple of exceptions it's just a load of middle of the road nonsense. How disappointing. :(

yep and we can't even sell our tickets on ebay! i think glastonbury has become too large and extremely corporate.

Well said Kirstie - thank god you lot won't be there, so we don't have to listen to your whining! And what's all this talk that line-ups are better elsewhere? Bar a few exceptions such as Muse, Maximo Park and Rage against the Machine, all the other festivals have almost identical line-ups with the same bunch of bands doing the rounds....

it sounds like some have you have been before but completely missed the point. whatever happened to the festival spirit? although i agree the lineup is less than impressive compared to previous year’s, i'm happily looking forward to seeing a different side to glastonbury rather than the usual camping out all day in the pyramid or other stage fields. i may be wrong, but isn’t there something like 49 stages this year? i’m sure everyone will have a great time so long as you go with right attitude. i can't wait for five days of fun at the happiest place on earth. if you're just after big name acts and not interested in all the other things glastonbury has to offer, then you'll always be better off at V or Reading.

Well said Rhys. Apart from anything else I'm not really sure why you're all moaning about something you're not going to. Are you trying to make us ticket holders feel like we're being done out of something? When I'm sitting at the stone circle with a lung full of laughing gas waiting to walk past loads of random acts of weirdness to see Fun Lovin Criminals followed by a whole night of entertainment I'll be thinking of you all.

Cant wait for Squarepusher, Caspa and Rusko, Appleblim, Skream and Benga, plus its not completely about the music, what about all the funny moments and stories and randomness that is a huge part of glastonbury!

my 13th glastonbury, and i always say every glastonbury is different, so many things and experiences to be had than watching some over hyped, over-rated bands. The glastonury line up is one of the most diverse line up (not just musical) of any festival on the planet, that's why visiting glastonbury is not like visiting another town, or another city , or even another country, it's like visiting another planet. Well that has to be the most uninspiring lineup ever.. Where are Portishead, Neil Young, Neil Diamond, Rage Against the Machine.. Wish I had took the gamble and went for Reading, TinThe Park or even latitude looks better.. Thank god for the STONED CIRCLE for some real entertainment...

I would liked to have seen more DnB talent as well. Subfocus, Die and Clipz will rinse it, as always, but it would have been good to see some more big name DnB DJs.

Pendulum have become far too commercial, which is a shame as they used to write storming tunes.

I know it will be great, but I also see why peop[le are complaining as the ticket price has not been reflected in the quality of the bands that have been booked, when compared to other fests (T in the Park has a supreme line up this year).

Anyway, see you all there, I'll be the one mashed up in the Dance Village ;-)

Sunday on Ptramid stage is just the worst.......Leonard Cohen as second last act on pyramid stage next ot the verve ----WTF , do me a favour and get someone booking some decent bands. We pay £165 to see top bands not old codgers who were crap even when they were supossed to be something 40 years ago.......maybe I miss the onelty factor but I don't like wasting money on crap lineups

The line-up's so-so. Some great acts in the park and the other more random stages (Pyramid's always pretty dodgy if you ask me). What is terrible though is the number of artists' names spelled wrong. DERRICK May, TROJAN Sound System, EDDY Temple Morris, SIMIAN mobile disco, Candy STATON (Candy Station?! WTF?). Or am I the only who cares about such trivialities?

I would like to know why there are no major bands on the bill. None of the bands on the line-up will have cost a significant amount of money to book.
