Golden Silvers – Arrows Of Eros

They may look like Cream circa ‘68 but their sound could the summer of ’08. Well, it will certainly be one of the sounds of this week at least because the band are one of the two winners who landed places on the bill at this year’s Glastonbury, via the festival's New Talent competition.
The north London trio – singer/keyboard player Gwilym Gold, bass player Ben Moorhouse and drummer Alexis Nunez, will be rousing hazy-headed revellers from the previous night’s hangover as they an early slot on the Other Stage on Saturday. Arrows of Eros blends a funky elastic bassline with retro keyboards, woo woo harmonies and propulsive handclaps-and-cowbells rhythm, the overall effect not being too far from the Mystery Jets. Funnily enough, they have recently been supporting the Jets on tour,
