Bloc Party have announced they are the latest addition to Q Awards 2008: The Gigs, taking place in the run-up to The Q Awards on October 6. The London-based four-piece, who have just released acclaimed new album Intimacy, will headline London Kentish Town Forum on September 30, completing a four-night stand that includes Keane, Razorlight and Sugababes in this clutch of exclusive shows for Q.
Put together by Q and Mean Fiddler to celebrate the Q Awards 2008 – one of the most prestigious and star-studded events in the music calendar - the full headliners are: Keane on September 29, Sugababes on October 1 and Razorlight on October 2. All support bands for these shows are still to be confirmed, so watch this space for details.
Tickets for all the shows cost £25 plus booking fee and will go on sale at 9am on Monday September 1 from www.aloud.com.

A message to Paul Ross about DIG OUT YOUR SOUL review in this months issue. You only gave it 3 STARS and said the last few tracks are like watching paint dry, well I DISAGREE with you on thta, one 1st listen on album it sounded average but after 6 or 7 it's very good, i'd say it's their best album since MORNNING GLORY. of cours STOP THE CLOCKS it their best as it's all thier hITS ON 2 CDS but DIG OUT YOUR SOUL is GOOD!!!!
