Two ten-second audio clips from Metallica's forthcoming album Death Magnetic were posted on their website last night. Named '#1' and '#2', the clips are a teaser for the 10-track release, due out September 12.
Meanwhile, the band are gearing up for their two special fan events to launch the album at O2 World in Berlin on the day of release and Docklands O2 Arena in London on September 15. At www.metallica.com, the band describe the ticket prices as "retro... ten euros for Berlin and £5 in London! And the best part is that all the proceeds from the sale of tickets will be donated to local charities."
