Oasis tour announced

Oasis today announced details of their UK tour – their first major series of domestic gigs for more than two and a half years – with 18 arena shows.

The dates, in October and November, will follow on from dates in Canada and are part of a 14-month sting on the road with their world tour.

Oasis will kick off the tour on October 7 – the day after new album Dig Out Your Soul is released - in Liverpool at the Echo Arena with further shows in cities such as Sheffield, Cardiff and Birmingham.

The dates are as follows:

:: Liverpool Echo Arena - October 7 and 8;
:: Sheffield Arena – October 10 and 11;
:: Birmingham National Indoor Arena – October 13 and 14;
:: Wembley Arena, London – October 16 and 17;
:: Bournemouth International Centre - October 20 and 21;
:: Cardiff International Arena – October 23 and 24;
:: Belfast Odyssey Arena – October 29 and 30;
:: Aberdeen Exhibition Centre – November 1 and 2;
:: Glasgow SECC – November 4 and 5.
