Glasvegas - Daddy's Gone
Originally limited to just 2000 vinyl copies on the Sane Man label, this heartbreaking number from vintage Scots rockers Glasvegas gets a major label re-release on August 25.
Championed by fellow native and Creation Records guru Alan McGee, the gritty quartet have already been compared to most of the Creation roster - and more. So if you like the sound of that - and Phil Spector, Elvis and The Velvet Underground - keep an eye open for their debut album, Glasvegas, out September 8.

Overhyped, overblown and desperately underwhelming. When will the music press get over this lumpen and mundane garbage?
