The UK’s best-selling music magazine Q presents the best of 2008 and more with its latest compilation Q The Album 2008.
This new release brings you all that is great about the magazine, offering you the finest new music and a selection of classic tracks. It features an amazing roster of acts such as the mighty Kings Of Leon, as well as a host of hot new acts such as The Ting Tings, Glasvegas, Fleet Foxes and Santogold.
In addition, the album features massive artists such as Razorlight and Bloc Party as well as a smattering of Q-friendly classic artists from the past including Jeff Buckley and Bob Dylan. These are the songs and the artists that are relevant in 2008. These are the tracks you need in your life.
Paul Rees, Q’s editor in chief, said the album featured “a broad expanse of music that ranges itself across a catholic spread of eras and styles. There is, though, a single unifying thread to all of this: it’s just the good stuff.”
“Something else that is made abundantly clear through this span of tracks is that music as a living, breathing art form didn’t cease to be during a decade long past, but that it continues to thrill, to challenge, and to work its magic like nothing else.”
Q The Album 2008 is released on Monday, October 27. You can pre-order and buy the album by clicking here
