Ex-Beatle Ringo Starr has claimed he is too busy to sign autographs - and will bin any future requests for his signature.
The musician posted a short video on his website explaining that fans should no longer write to him with requests or send objects for him to add his scrawl. Starr said it was a "serious message" to anyone watching the updates on his site and peppered the 43-second clip with reminders that he was making this stand with "peace and love".
As always wearing dark glasses, 68-year-old Starr said: “Nothing will be signed after October 20. If that is the date on the envelope, it is going to be tossed. I am warning you with peace and love, I have too much to do.”
The video of his announcement has now been pulled from his website www.ringostarr.com but you can still catch it here.
What do you think of Ringo's decision?

Bring Back John!
I have to say that Ringo gets on my nerves slightly - he's pretty damn uncool - give me Charlie Watts any day.

Hmm...he's been signing autographs for nearly 50 years now! Maybe he's tired of it? Or he's been watching the amount of money fans are paying and receiving for his signed items on ebay and he no likey? Ya know, fame has it's price! Ringo's gotta chill. If Lennon was around he would probably agree with Ringo's decision. WTF right?

If he cannot oblige his fans because of restricted time he should at least addess it in a more friendly fashion, he sounds angry and upset about it. Let's fact it Ringo was/is a mediocre drummer and just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Ringo is still cool and I can't see him refusing to sign an autograph for a fan. But you can certainly see where he would tire of doing it. Peace and Love.
