Guns N’Roses are giving fans a chance to hear the Chinese Democracy album today by streaming the album in its entirety on their Myspace page.
The album, 15 years in gestation, is finally released on November 24 - one of the most eagerly awaited releases of the past few years.

...Ah yes. I've tried my hardest to get worked up by more recent bands, I've been excited by Muse and delighted by Radiohead, I've stood by REM and I even flirted with U2. But this...this is my favourite record I've heard since about 1991...

To Iain Martin - It's probably your favourite since 1991 because it SOUNDS like it was made in 1991! May as well have been called Use Your Illusion III. Having said that, there are some of us who lament the day Nirvana killed hair metal and it's certainly not a bad record.

Well...it is certainly different! It sounds like nothing else on god’s earth...and that MUST be a good thing, surely?
To instantly dismiss this album as rubbish - as has oft been quoted - is just not true.
After an admittedly RIDICULOUSLY long gestation time, the knives will always be out for such an ambitious and expensive project.
It is clearly a very weird and complicated album, give it time THEN by all means criticise. People are too quick to judge. It only came out TODAY!!!
