Axl Rose doesn’t normally strike you as the sort of chap who would encourage air guitar contests. But Guns N’Roses are giving fans a chance to hear the album ahead of the release date to the winner of an online video competition and up to 100 friends.
Entrants are asked to upload a video of their, ahem, “craziest, most inappropriate air guitar” playing to a dedicated YouTube channel. At stake is a private Chinese Democracy party, which will include:
· Limousine pick-up from winner’s house to the party which would be held at a local venue with VIP treatment for the winner and 100 friends with free drink;
· The UK premiere public playback of the Chinese Democracy album;
· A presentation disc recognising the winners as the first person in the UK to own Chinese Democracy.
Entry closes on November 17, a week before the album’s release.
