Kevin Rudolf (feat. Lil Wayne) - Let It Rock
Originally from New York, Kevin Rudolf has already made a name for himself lending his guitar riffs to such tracks as Nelly Furtado’s Say It Right and uberproducer Timbaland’s Scream. More recently, the in-demand producer/guitarist - now Miami-based - turned his hand to writing his own material, and is now being hailed as the next big thing, about to turn hip-hop on its head with his genre-defying music.
Since signing a deal with Cash Money Records in 2007, after CEO Ronald ‘Slim’ Williams heard his tracks, Rudolf has proved that his song-writing is just as hot as his production skills, with the release of his debut single Let It Rock featuring rap’s man of the moment Lil Wayne.
Let It Rock is a mesh of rock/hip-hop and electro and is currently one of the fastest climbing tracks in the US, selling more than 800,000 downloads in a week, reaching number five in the Billboard charts.
