Comedian and Q Radio host Russell Kane is to feature in a BBC1 comedy special in December.
The Sunday morning host is among the stars of Live At The Apollo in an edition of the BBC1 show to be screened on Friday, December 5. You can catch the show up to seven days later here
Russell – a double if.comedy Award nominee – enjoyed a sell-out success for his acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe stand-up Gaping Flaws and is also taking his gags on the road with his first national tour with a 36-date series of shows across the UK.
In the show, Russell ponders the reasons why the Brits are so fond of flaws – old teacups, Anthony Trollope and a Nan’s gammy hip – and how we bond through moaning; how leggy American supermodels are all well and good, but for the average British man, you can’t beat the girl-next-door with the dodgy eye who groped you behind the dog-poo bin.
Russell, who will also perform dates for BBC1’s Live At The Apollo this December, sets off on tour from January 5.
