Ah they don’t make ads like this anymore: Morecambe & Wise in a vintage TV commercial plugging Atari games consoles. Come to think of it they don’t make games like that anymore.

Adam & Joe meet Ray Manzarek, probably the best example of Adam & Joe’s Vinyl Justice slot from the days when they were one of the best things on TV. Please someone give them a TV show again. Joe is almost doing jazz hands to a member of The Doors. Adam’s reaction to a private performance of Light My Fire is priceless….

Oh look, there seems to be a theme developing with an ampisand in every act in this page so far, so here’s another: the unlikely, but magical combination of two of the greatest figures in music - Johnny Cash & Louis Armstrong. Feast on five minutes of bliss.

Who would have thought when Rick Astley (pictured above) had a number one with Never Gonna Give You Up that two decades later people would actually care. But now, on top of collecting a title at the MTV Europe Awards earlier this month, he was yesterday one of the stars of the showpiece Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York with a live ‘rickroll’. What a strange world.
